Lake Conservation Project / Vietnam

A WSI expert has been selected by the People’s Committee of Quang Tri Province in central Vietnam to provide professional input to a lake conservation project.

The lake, which is located in Dong Ha City, still features a diverse fauna and flora, but is threatened by rapid urban development and uncontrolled discharge of wastewater into the water body.

Following comprehensive fact finding activities, the WSI expert has developed a lake development plan and landscaping concept which ensures the dwellers’ needs for recreation, but also protects the lake’s natural conditions to the largest possible extent.
